Crater Lake National Park is about 30 miles northwest of the property. At 1,949 feet, Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the Nation. It's crystal clear waters are fed by rain and snowmelt. There are many places to hike and camp in the park, and the views are just spectacular! Be sure and stop on the way up to the park to the right, just before you get there, and check out the fossilized steam vents!
City of Chiloquin - The city of Chiloquin is about two miles away, and is the nearest town. There is a medical clinic, a hardware store, (where we found the employees to be extremely helpful and friendly), churches, a grocery store, a school, park, and the majestic Williamson River flowing through it. It's a good place to grab a few supplies. If you need to shop where there are larger box stores or visit a hospital, Klamath Falls is just about 30 miles away.
