From there you can get on Hwy 97 and travel another 30 miles south to Klamath Falls for major stores, a hospital, and events ranging from cultural, educational, theater, and concerts. You can also travel north on Hwy 97 to the city of Bend, Oregon.

the valley is on the pacific flyway for migratory birds! in the winter months it has the largest congregation of bald eagles in the lower 48 states! you will also see many ducks, geese, songbirds, sandhill cranes and even pelicans! i took this photo of the sandhill cranes just up the road from the property.
