Although the town of Chiloquin is small, with about 700 people, there is a hardware store, community center, market, gas station, a few small shops, and a medical clinic. They also have a volunteer fire and ambulance service. Chiloquin sits just east of Hwy 97.

If you travel south on Hwy 97, it’s about 30 minutes to Klamath Falls for all the amenities of a larger city. It would be  an easy and beautiful commute, or for work, medical, school, or shopping. Klamath Falls is home to the Sky Lakes Medical Center, large box stores for shopping, an airport, active nightlife, great restaurants, and all the amenities you would expect from a larger city. 

If you travel north on Hwy 97 about 100 miles, you reach Bend, which is the largest city in Central Oregon and an epicenter for educational, spiritual, artistic, cultural, and recreational activities.
