Crater Lake National Park is just 40 miles away and is Oregon’s only National Park! Crater Lake is fed from rain and snow melt and is amazingly clear. At 1,949 feet deep, it is the deepest lake in the nation and is absolutely breathtaking! The entire park is unbelievably beautiful!

The towering Cascade Mountains to the west offer fantastic winter recreation! People travel from all over Oregon to the area to ski and snowboard at Mt. Bachelor, and the Willamette Pass! There are also miles of dedicated snowmobile trails to explore! In the summer months, hiking, OHV/ATV, horseback riding, mountain biking, bird and wildlife watching, fishing, boating, and fly-fishing are all popular here!
