easy to access drews road, which is the county maintained paved road leads to the subdivision. within the subdivision the roads are compacted dirt and gravel. we found the property to be very easy to access and had no trouble at all, even without 4-wheel drive.

although it is in oregon, this area gets so much sunshine! the area is considered high desert, and it does get cold here in the winters, but the area receives nearly 300 days of sunshine per year! there are some late spring frosts, but the summers are warm and pleasant.

wow! look at those views of the sprague river and valley! the views here are really breathtaking! this was taken in late summer and the grasses in the valley remain green and beautiful as the sprague river meanders by. it is so tranquil here. imagine, this could be the view from your new home!

winter snowmobiling! the winters are cold here, and they do get some snow, it only averages about 16 inches of rain per year. it is just a short drive up to the mountains though for all kinds of winter fun! skiing at the willamette pass, mt. shasta or mt. bachelor, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, nordic skiing, whatever you like to do in the snow, in the winter months you don't have to travel more than an hour or two to find a place to play!

so many ohv roads to travel! ohv are the way most people travel around here. whether you are visiting a neighbor, running down to the hitching post store in town, or just a quick trip to the river, (although i'm not sure you are supposed to ride them on public roads...) we saw many people riding them around. there are also many designated ohv trails in the area and millions of acres of public land, but make sure it's an area where they are allowed, the ecosystems are fragile here.
