If you are looking for larger city amenities, the city of Klamath Falls is only about an hour away. They have large stores like Walmart and Home Depot. The Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) is there, as well as hospitals, cultural events, museums, restaurants, concerts, and an active nightlife.

The Kla-Mo_Ya Casino is also nearby, just outside of Chiloquin.

The Klamath Basin has the largest congregation of wintering bald eagles in the lower 48 states! You can also see sandhill cranes, geese, ducks, songbirds, and pelicans!

The Sprague River runs through the lush valley below the tableland plateau where this property lies, and is only about 4 miles away, with numerous access points for fishing, hunting, wildlife watching, kayaking, canoeing or just enjoying the water flow peacefully by.

The parcel is fairly flat with just a gentle slope, and with the large size of this property, there could be many possible building sites! The property has native rabbit brush, sage, and native grasses. In the spring it is blanketed in wildflowers! There is almost no light or air pollution here, so stargazing at night here is just spectacular!

This property feels like you are out in the wilderness, with kind of an Old-West vibe, the feeling of freedom from a busy lifestyle. With this property, you can have that feeling and still be close to amenities and activities, or a quick trip down to the store, deli, gas station, or post office in Sprague River.
