The area is not heavily populated, the nearest town is Chiloquin, Oregon which is about 15 miles away, and you can get on HWY 97 from there where the city of Klamath Falls is just about 30 miles south.

 

Just north of Chiloquin is the Kla-Moy-Ya Casino, you can also travel farther north to Bend, which is the largest city in Central Oregon.

 

Klamath Falls has large shopping stores like Walmart and Home Depot, The Sky Lakes Medical Facility, The Crater Lake- Klamath Regional Airport, cultural events, concerts, great restaurants, and education.  Oregon Institute of technology (OIT) is in Klamath Falls, as well as Klamath Community College. and many larger city amenities.

If you are looking to get away and live a quieter lifestyle, this may be the perfect spot for you! This is a rural property, but is by no means remote. It is walking distance to the Sprague River, not far from easy access to Hwy 97, which is the main artery through Central Oregon, there are neighbors, but not too close, and wildlife abounds here! it is only about an hour drive to crater lake national park, which is oregon’s only national park! crater lake is fed from rain and snow melt and is amazingly clear! at 1,949 feet deep, it is the deepest lake in the nation and is absolutely breathtaking!
